“Although an older hotel with a lobby that looks like remnants of the Covid days, it was quiet, clean and the check in representative was polite. Easy access to highway. ”

“Very quiet. Great location just outside of Glen Rose. Run via internet but felt upscale. ”

“An absolutely delightful stay. Very well behaved four legged hosts, and a charming two legged innkeeper! The food is outstanding and there is a game and puzzle closet available, that also includes a few books. A word of advice: the stairs to the second floor are in excellent condition, but if climbing stairs isn’t for you - request a downstairs room. We were unaware of this when making our reservation, but they were able to move us to a ground-level room. Highly recommend ”

“I was aware the resort was kind of "rustic" in the sense of a natural park/water park - cabin, but to our surprise, it exceeded our expectation, our room was ample, clean and great. The staff was uber-kind and attentive to our needs, we were provided an informative package with all the activities and amenities they offer, I wish I had more time than just the weekend to explore the area; we all had fun. This is a family resort so expect pets and kids around. ”

“It was all good except we had a hard time getting hot water in the bathroom off the kitchen. We couldn't even complete a short shower or wash our hands before it got cold. This is the only thing we experienced that wasn't excellent.”

“Staff were very attentive via email and super helpful in setting up our stay: Ty Casey, Paxton, and Scott! Only thing we didn't like was not having on site food options and bird droppings everywhere. Our room was very clean! We recommend little cafe called R&K in town for breakfast! Loved their French toast!”
