“This was an unexpected trip due to a death in the family. Considering we didn't plan to travel to NYC, we were happily surprised this house was equipped with everything we needed, from new kitchen appliances like air fryer, rice cooker, and crockpot to hair dryer, garment steamer, plenty of towels, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body wash etc. The beds, sheets and pillows were hotel quality. The house was comfortable and homey. Plus it had parking! It's located in a very nice and quiet……

“The pics of this property do not do it justice!! It was very clean and spacious. The back yard was just as spacious for us to relax in the evening. Everything was well stocked (more than I expected) We were in town for a wedding and the lighting was exceptional for us to get ready. We did have a problem with the hot water but that was no fault of the host. Someone accidentally hit the switch for the boiler and Hanna was readily available when contacted about it. She graciously explained what may……

“Dette stedet anbefales på det varmeste. Og vert Ali var veldig påpasselig underveis, svarte på spørsmål, tipset om flytting av bilen på grunn av soping av gata og kom med ny brødrister når den gamle ikke virket. Leiligheten er godt utstyrt for 8., men ikke til 14. gode senger og godt fungerende kjøleanlegg. Enkle toalettartikler på alle bad. Det var stort sett rent og fint overalt. Det var lett å finne buss som tok deg til New York 5 minutter unna. Eneste negative ting våre ungdommer kommenterte……

“The communal living spaces on the first floor were spacious. We would have breakfast together as a family in the morning. All the A/Cs worked which was key for these very warm and humid days. Upstairs, the beds were comfortable. Yes, some of the finishes are older, but I've lived in NY before and know that it's also part of the charm. For the price for our group of 7, it was a great deal. “Large comfortable home in great location with multiple views of the Hudson. Our family had a pleasant stay and would definitely return to Castle in the Sky.”

“If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Upon arrival, I received no check-in information, which immediately set the tone for a frustrating experience. When I got to the property, the front door was already open, raising serious concerns about security. Inside, the floors were dirty, the beds were unmade, and the trash from the previous guests had not been removed. There were bugs throughout the space, and the front door handle was broken, making the property feel unsafe and poorly……

“Really impressed with the stay. A little disappointed the washer didn’t work, couldn’t wash towels to reuse for the days we stayed. It was just enough for each person to use one towel each for the entire stay. Other than that everything was great. ”

“We booked the property because our family is growing too large for all of the children and grandchildren to spend the holidays together. The “holiday house” as our 4 year old coined it was the perfect place to spend Christmas and Hanukkah. Large yet cozy and very well appointed. All of our communication with proprietors was prompt and helpful, and they had the driveway salted and plowed within hours of the (very picturesque) snowfall the day before Christmas. I would happily book here again. ”
