“We stayed at Tom and Sharon’s river house for a bachelorette trip and loved the views and quaint house. We commented many times that we felt like we were on a river cruise! Tom was very quick to respond and accommodating leading up to our trip, but we were slightly confused by the check in process as we received a code for the door but also instructions telling us to come to the front porch to get a key and instructions of how to get to the property. “5 adults over Christmas. Fireplace worked well. No problem with hot water with 5 people. Double bed in one room tilted to one side. Resolved by stuffing many pillows under mattress to level bed. Few towels and dishtowels. washer and dryer superb. Great place for our Golden Retriever. Door to back yard passes cold air so heat is on most of the time. Furnaced worked real well. Safety alert:front and back porched are tiled. THEY are very slippery. We had to put rubber yoga mats on……

The location is very convenient off of the main roads and near shopping. There were a couple of things that would have made our stay better, but after speaking with the owner directly, he has already implemented all of our suggestions so there is no need to mention them. ”
