“This review was initially going to be a lower rating (3), but the interactions with the host made up some of that difference. I do think overall this rental is a good value, but there are definitely some issues. I would rent this house again once they are fixed.The good. The listing allows dogs, includes quite a few beds, has plenty of space for post-slopes activities (board / card games, drinks, and meals), and has a hot tub. “Great getaway for our family visiting the area for a Hunter Mountain ski trip. House was perfect for a party of 10. The mountain was about 30 min away which we didn’t mind the drive to start our day. Loved the indoor sauna and massage chairs! And a great kitchen for entertaining and staying in. ”

We appreciated the attention to small details like quality towels, hand soap and toilet paper, the cleanliness of the home, the extras like playground equipment, the hot tub and the fire pit all of which we used and enjoyed. There is plenty of space for those who needed to get a little work done and for those who were looking to chill. The location was private and yet close to grocery store and other activities.”
