“My hosts were friendly and professional. One Drake Road is beautifully furnished and there are myriad beautiful touches to make this a unique and truly splendid stay. It was comfortable, homely and a great place from which to explore Tavistock and surrounding areas. ”

“Very nice, high points food, evening meal was lovely, had vegetarian breakfast, it was hot freshly cooked and very tasty. very comfortable, negative: would have liked a mirror in the bedroom, but was only in the bathroom. No soap in bathroom had to use the tube of body wash, no working bedside lamps, issues with the tv, but was resolved very quickly moving my room. Parkingcan be tricky . ”

“This B&B hotel was beyond our expectation, really nice and warm feeling staying there. Only 10 min driving to Plymouth downtown, quite and comfortable. Nice and traditional building with good experience. Good breakfast and condition that we really enjoy staying there for 2 nights. If you want to experience traditional English style pub and food as well as feeling, Don't miss it.”

“Stunning grounds and setting, excellent food and presentation, simply the best service from staff who went above and beyond. Only downside was I couldn't pay by Amex, the first hotel I've stayed in that doesn't accept it.”

“Had to collect the key from a different location which was a little irritating but the staff were very helpful so not all bad. Penthouse is spacious and clean with a great view out over the city towards the sea. One pretty major issue though - neither of the bedrooms had curtains or blinds so when the sun comes up at 04:45 in June that’s a massive problem! Why no curtains? Lack of sleep made my next day rather miserable. ”
