“Stayed here with my spouse, son, father and his partner to visit my brother who lives in Chicago. We wanted someplace close to Shed Aquarium. This location checked that box (shed was about 17 minutes from this spot)! The co-host was friendly and responsive when we had some issues with finding the correct entrance. Area is decent, lots of sirens and near the L train but you can mostly only hear that when you are outside on the back deck (also I feel like this is normal Chicago noise). My son……

“Pics didn’t really line up with the place, but that’s okay. Area was pretty safe, easy to drive around. Hard to get ahold of owners at times, but besides that, it was a good time.”

“We are not far from Chicago, but we wanted to stay near for a 3 day event in the area. Our code did not work at check-in but the property manager was very quick to respond so that we could get inside. We did not have any issues with the property; the location was central to where we needed to go and eat, the property was clean and it was quiet around the unit. We did have 4 children under 10 with us and were told the day of check-in that there was an older man that lived below and not to run……

“We rented this vacation home for a girls’ weekend in Chicago and truly enjoyed staying there. It was clean and comfortable. The only issue we encountered was taxi drivers would not drop us at the rear alley entrance to the building (the entrance we were instructed to use) citing ‘safety concerns’, so we would have to walk around the building to get to the rear entrance. We never felt threatened while staying there so I’m not sure where they were coming from. All in all we would not hesitate to……

“Perfect apartment to go to the convention center, our walk to the event was closer than our friends who stayed in the Marriott and walked via the bridges. ”

“There was confusion with VRBO regarding our arrival date, no fault of the property owner. They made arrangements to clean the unit and provide lunch for our group while we waited and offered a second night free for the inconvenience. Highly recommend. Property owner went above and beyond!”

“The stay was great and the place was very cute. However, the pictures do not show that the bedrooms (king bed and the bunk beds) are in the same room and there is no door that separates them, just a half wall. But great communication with owners and great location”

“8 ladies stayed comfortably and the location was clean & safe. No issues during our stay and communication was great start to finish. The only thing that would of made it better would be a pizza cutter available in the kitchen :)”
