“We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home! The space was clean, comfortable, and just as described-perfect for the few days we were there. The setting was peaceful, and the home was well-equipped with everything we needed. It is a quiet older neighborhood and when you look at the information binder it addresses the vacant house next door.When we first arrived, the water had a strong "rotten egg" smell, but the host was responsive and let us know it was likely due to a recently installed……

“Cute little cottage that is close to Lake Michigan beaches. We did run into a plumbing issue the first morning there where the bathroom toilet clogged and the shower stopped draining, but it was handled that day and they were very responsive. We also had a bit of an ant issue, they had someone out to spray the day after we reported it, but even with that, the ants did continue to be an issue. That being said, it is a nice little place to go for vacation. ”

“I booked this cottage and then there was a problem w/ the well so John upgraded me to Livingston's Fabulous Beach House--a 3-bedroom house nearby. This review reflects my stay at the Beach House, which was a peaceful, airy, welcome retreat. John was most gracious in making this upgrade change and I had a fabulous few days to myself......95 steps down to beautiful beaches where I could walk for miles. “This property was just what we needed, a place to stay with our dogs while we attended an out-of-town graduation. Beds were comfy and the cottage was nice with good drinking water (not well water).Only issues were no door directly to the backyard (so you still have to leash the dogs to let them out), no hand rail on the stairs (my mom couldn't safely stay here), quirky design (shower door blocks the towel rack when open) and the lighting challenge of an older home (no light switch in main……

Morning coffee experiencing nature in the beautiful setting and evening soaks in the hot tub were perfect bookends to days of exploring beaches and the wine trail.
