“A nice location by the beach. The rooms are behind a restaurant, keeping it quieter. The accommodations are older with rooms that show some wear, but that’s a minor cosmetic concern. it’s a fine place to stay!”

“Henry was a terrific host. He gave us lots of advice on restaurants and attractions nearby and he responded quickly to any questions we had. The house was nicely situated on the ocean - we sat under the veranda watching the waves roll in, the lightning strike and the ships go by. There was everything we needed in the house. It was a bit out of the way - quite far from Monteverde for example. We rented a car and would have been lost without it.We missed the sunsets because of the weather so……

If you want to enjoy CR with a local feel and experience this is a place for you. The owners were responsive to questions and w/recommendations sheet to go. We loved CURU and the wildlife refuge, great hiking trails, great beach..”
