“Excellent home”

“Loved our stay on the edge of the marsh! The house is adorable and well equipped. An ice storm the day prior to our arrival made pretty much every walkway in Maine (and in the driveway and walkaway to the house) an ice skating rink, but we managed not to break any hips. So peaceful watching the ice flows and ducks traveling down the marsh creek. The shells on Goose Rock Beach were plentiful and the seals that watched (laughed at?) us from afar as we prepped for a polar plunge (we chickened out……

“We wanted a quick getaway in Maine to celebrate a milestone birthday. Kennebunkport is close to family and offers hiking and birding, which we enjoy. This little house was perfect. It is clean, cozy, comfortable and had everything we needed and wanted. Comfy beds, seating and great location. We loved the combination of old house and modern decor and modern conveniences. The modern, well appointed kitchen and bathroom were most welcome. There were plenty of places to eat locally despite it being……

“This was the cleanest house (vacation rental or otherwise!) I have ever been in! The owner thought of everything with plenty of extra towels, pillows, shampoo, etc. We got snow Saturday night and were plowed twice to be sure we could get in and out. The house is open and airy with floor to ceiling windows and luxurious kitchen and bathrooms. Lots of French doors to the private backyard. Incredibly convenient location, but set back from the street. 5!”

“You could tell how new this property was with every detail in the home and the cleanliness! Also host thought of leaving many helpful things that we didn’t need to bring (all bedding, bath towels, beach towels, wagon, nice beach chairs). Our group of five (four adults and a 4 year old) had a great stay and had plenty of room to spread out. Hope to return again in the future! ”

“This is our second year staying in this home for our girl's weekend and we had a lovely time. Plenty of space for the seven of us and we already can't wait for next year. Richard is very communicative and answers questions promptly. He was very helpful after we realized we left something behind. Big tables for game days and nights. We also took advantage of the puzzles available in the house. As other reviewers mentioned, we would love having a property info guide. We spent quite some time……

“We traveled to Old Orchard during February break. While OOB didn’t have a lot going on we were able to travel around Maine with an oceanfront home base. The beach was nearly empty for daily walks, plenty of sunshine to bundle up and sit on the upper deck in, and a lot of snow! We did enjoy a nor’easter while we were there. The driveway was cleared the next day and the front stairs were cleaned. We did have to do the deck out back to enjoy it. The house has everything you could need for a rental.……
