When I arrived and gave my last name, the valet repeatedly questioned it and made me spell it several times, while giving me a very dismissive and judgmental look. It felt like my name was being treated as strange or unacceptable. This kind of behavior made me feel deeply disrespected as a guest. A hotel of this level should ensure that all staff treat people with equal courtesy and professionalism, regardless of their name or background.”

“We really enjoyed staying at Santa Monica Hotel. The staff were really friendly and helpful. There was really only one downside - the room was pretty warm and there seemed to be no A/C. Overall, it was a good value for the area and a lovely walk down to the beach. ”
