“Secluded south end walk to Playa Samara Beach. Monkeys serenade you everyday. very good kitchen. Close to Samara Village and Playa Carillo. Not really close enough to walk. Peaceful.”

“Great location at Samara. We had booked a room with balcony looking out to the street not realizing it’s a busy street. We got upgraded to a bigger room with pool view without any request. We appreciated that very much as e were tired that day. The ac in the room worked excellent, the room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Parking is across the street. We only stayed one night so did not get the a chance to try the restaurant, which looked great but can’t actually rate as we decided to……

“Unsere Zeit im La Colina Pura Vista war einfach wunderbar. Schon die Anreise ist ein kleines Abenteuer – mit einem 4x4 empfehlenswert, da die Straßen nicht optimal ausgebaut sind. “Die Unterkunft war perfekt für uns. Das Pool war zum Strand eine gute Abwechslung. Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Der Service in der Residenz sehr gut. Das einzige was uns ein bisschen gestört hat ist das kleine Badezimmer. Doch der Rest der Wohnunh war gross und geräumig, deshalb ist das nur eine kleiner nicht so wichtige Kritik. ”

“Wir waren im Juni 2025 im Hotel Belvedere, Samara. Für dieses Hotel vergeben wir 10 von 5 möglichen Sternen. Gebucht hatten wir einen der beiden Luxus-Bungalows, die keine Wünsche offen lassen. Super eingerichtet bis hin zu Kaffeemaschine, Wasserkocher, Mikrowelle und einem kleinen Safe. Die Besitzer, Michaela und Manfred, haben hier ein kleines Paradies erschaffen. Sie kümmern sich sehr liebevoll um ihre Gäste und stehen mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Das Personal ist freundlich, hilfsbereit und……

“It is a very beautiful property with amazing views! The staff was very friendly. They were constantly cleaning. The food was great and reasonably priced. (We have had a hard time with finding good food for a good price in the previous places we stayed. The beach was incredible! It is a a tough drive on gravel would recommend a 4 wheel drive with good tires. We had a small car and had to go very slow. There is three creeks that need to be crossed we were okay because it is the dry hot season.”

“Hung up in unbelievable traffic in Santa Cruz, I was not able to check into the hotel until 7 AM the next day when they reopened. So I don't have the overnight experience one expects. That said, the room was very clean, the shower had good hot water, and I did get a morning nap on the bed. Fort7nately, it is off the road a bit. But noise carries and young Costa Ricans love their motorcycles. So if you are super noise sensitive that might bother you, but the traffic is really light on that……
