“It is a very beautiful property with amazing views! The staff was very friendly. They were constantly cleaning. The food was great and reasonably priced. (We have had a hard time with finding good food for a good price in the previous places we stayed. The beach was incredible! It is a a tough drive on gravel would recommend a 4 wheel drive with good tires. We had a small car and had to go very slow. There is three creeks that need to be crossed we were okay because it is the dry hot season.”

“This is an amazing property in a very peaceful setting away from the hustle bustle of tourists. The pool area and the grounds overall are absolutely stunning! They have a beach club which is a few steps down from the property and that was the perfect walk for us every day. They also have golf carts to take you there if you don’t care to walk. “Hung up in unbelievable traffic in Santa Cruz, I was not able to check into the hotel until 7 AM the next day when they reopened. So I don't have the overnight experience one expects. That said, the room was very clean, the shower had good hot water, and I did get a morning nap on the bed. Fort7nately, it is off the road a bit. But noise carries and young Costa Ricans love their motorcycles. So if you are super noise sensitive that might bother you, but the traffic is really light on that……

“This place was the highlight of our trip! The room was spacious and clean. The property grounds were immaculate and gorgeous! The staff was helpful and friendly and the food was delicious! “The Hideaway is great. The staff is wonderful, the proper is beautiful and the food is delicious. Our only issue was slow toilet flushing but that was minor compared to all of the wonderful things we found at the Hideaway. There’s a very sweet iguana that hangs by the patio. We named him Esteban and enjoyed seeing him each morning. ”
