“Luis and Veronica have a very special place, and they are the nicest and most attentive hosts. They welcomed us warmly and told us about the local beaches and recommended local turtle guides, so we got to see some of the Olive Ridleys lay eggs! They even helped us with our special needs (laundry and when a flat tire)! The family tree house is such a unique structure, we loved staying in it. We saw many interesting animals right outside of our door from the porch. The rooms are super clean……

“Hung up in unbelievable traffic in Santa Cruz, I was not able to check into the hotel until 7 AM the next day when they reopened. So I don't have the overnight experience one expects. That said, the room was very clean, the shower had good hot water, and I did get a morning nap on the bed. Fort7nately, it is off the road a bit. But noise carries and young Costa Ricans love their motorcycles. So if you are super noise sensitive that might bother you, but the traffic is really light on that……

“Tierra Magnifica was absolutely amazing! From the peaceful nature all around us to the kind, attentive staff and the amazing room! The staff went above and beyond for absolutely everything - booking our custom excursion to even getting us a breakfast burrito delivered by the security guard at 2am because we had to drive back to San Jose that early.
