“This is a well kept small hotel set back into the jungle, about five minutes away from Trivandrum, with the sounds of native birds filling the air in the morning and evening. The rooms are comfortable, with beautiful tropical views, and the staff very accommodating.”

“It was a one night stay before a flight. The check in was quick (but 2 forms to fill in!); the room spacious and comfortable with efficient cooling. The lift played Brahms’ lullaby. There is a small swimming pool which I enjoyed a couple of times, which seemed seldom used, but a real pleasure. It’s located off some main road and easy to get places. I had my best night’s sleep in 8 days in India and that was most welcome. Breakfast was straightforward and simple. It is in many ways like any other……

“The property is well kept and lush. The evening boat ride followed by the tea overlooking the sundet sea side was beautiful. However the hosts at the restaurants are extremly pushy and annoying sometimes. The key is to stay alert and available if needed not hovering over the guests the whole time. There is a difference. Their restaurant "bait" needs major renovation and wasn't inviting due to old and broken furniture. There are not enough dining options in the area so youre forced to eat at……

“We were very disappointed with the service at this hotel. When we tried to pay during the day, no staff were present at reception. We went to reception several times and I even sat in the garden for an hour on a video call and didn’t see anyone. We assumed we would be able to settle the bill in the morning, but instead, someone came knocking on our door at 10pm demanding payment.
