“Wir haben ein altes, typisches azorisches Landhaus erwartet und es auch bekommen. Die Ausstattung war entsprechend. Wer Luxus und Komfort erwartet, wird enttäuscht. Wer aber die typisch ländliche Atmosphäre in einem idyllisch gelegener Umgebung sucht, der fühlt sich hier wohl. Der das Haus umgebende Garten ist schon alleine ein Erlebnis. Die Aussicht auf den Atlantik und Ponta Delgada ist super, und wenn man dann noch einen Sonnenuntergang bei entsprechendem Wetter geniessen kann - perfekt.Vor……

“The view through the gate and sitting on the cliffs was awesome, better than we expected. The cliff walk was also fantastic. The inside of cottage was close to what we expected. A traditional azorean home. Plenty of space for our needs and clean. As far as I could tell there was no central heating, but the space heaters were enough. Parking is on the road but we could always find a spot across the street on the sidewalk, which is what the locals do. The town was quaint and had it been warmer, I……

“Loved our stay here. Absolutely beautiful property. Quiet and relaxing. Breakfast was delicious every morning with a stunning view. Accommodations was spacious and clean. Property was a close walk to many restaurants, a hot spring, and hikes. Would highly recommend staying here. ”

“The best stocked place we have ever stayed in, fridge stocked with cheese, beer, eggs, coffee, fresh baked bread, homemade treats, rice, pasta, etc. Bikes were available, fishing rods and a croquet field! We were there mid March in bad weather, the inside of the house was quite cool, but with a fire going it was very comfy. Speaking of comfy, great bed!”

“Nous avons séjourné en famille 5 jours au mois d’Aout 2023 dans la maison La Nouvelle. La vue sur l’océan est magnifique, une route passe juste en dessous mais n’est pas bruyante et ne se voit pas depuis la terrasse. Nous avons pu profiter du siège suspendu pour regarder l’océan en fin de journée. Le logement est globalement bien équipé. 2 salles de bains bien pratiques. Notre fille a dormi dans le salon sur le canapé lit. La maison est située à 10min du centre ville à pied et 5 min de la plage……

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in La Nouvelle in Mosteiros, which is about a 40 minute drive from Ponta Delgada. The view from the place is just spectacular. I will definitely stay here again if I am able to visit Sao Miguel in the future. The place was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The host was very responsive to questions.”
