“Absolutely lovely place to stay, the owners are so kind and caring and lovely to speak to we arrived about 5.30pm to a lovely gentleman who showed us around the farm and to our room. There was fresh milk in the room and every amenity you could think of, breakfast was at a time of our choosing 9.30am as we fancied a lie-in, amazing chef the breakfast was to die for. We went for a roam around the fields to see some horses and sheep who were really friendly. Overall all an amazing place to stay and……
“The chalet was very clean. It was nice and quiet at night. The continental breakfast was great and if we needed anything our hosts were very obliging. Can’t think of any negatives. We are sure that if guests with young children were to stay the kids would love to see and engage with the different animals on the farm. All told we would give this accommodation a ten out of ten.”
“Beautiful little apartment. Simple but has everything you may need, incredibly peaceful and stunning views and walks. Very dog friendly. Amazing value for money”
“I had one complaint & that was there was dog mess in the car park far corner which was obviously old & some had been trodden in. Otherwise the room was clean, quite spacious & plenty of tea & coffee. The bathroom was clean & tidy with plenty of fresh towels. The breakfast was delicious & the staff were extremely friendly. ”
“We were very happy with our room. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. We stayed and had food in the evening and that was also very nice. We will definitely return. ”
“The location was great, was out the way so a nice change, but still close enough to various amenities local. The room was cozy and clean. The bed was amazingly comfy! Had the best nights sleep! Will definitely be staying here again, cant wait for my next trip!”
“Parking is in The Lawns car park and at £10 for 24 hours is reasonably priced.
Check in was very welcoming and everything explained, including the refurbishment being carried out.
The room was lovely, as was the bathroom. Mugs on the tea/coffee tray are a great idea, hotel cups are often far too small! The bed was very comfortable but unfortunately I had trouble getting to sleep as the staff from the restaurant across the courtyard sat outside after closing, talking and laughing until……
“Such a lovely property, service was brilliant all weekend. Breakfasts were brilliant.
The fact it is located halfway up the hill made for a great setting.
Thank you so much for making the weekend so special”
“Tumbleweed Cottage is a beautiful hidden jem that myself and Kay will be visiting frequently for many years to come , Shaan and Sef made us feel so welcome and so comfortable with our stay we wished we could've booked for longer,
The Rooms are beautiful with fabulous views of the garden . Breakfast was amazing and Sef's fresh summer fruit yoghurts are just scrumptious,
We will be back again with our children (dogs) and walk through the village,
May the Force be with You

“Rooms were nice and staff were friendly. Stayed on the 4th floor try and avoid if you can. Room was directly under restaurant so got disturbed early on with chairs and tables shuffling and banging common about 7.45am”
“An excellent 4 night base for visits in the area. It must have been a splendid residence in the past. We have stayed before and will likely do so again.”
“Food is nice.
Staff is very polite to help and serve
Location is quite close to my destination, only 10 minutes.
The view is also great. I could walk around before the breakfast.
I like the hotel breakfast, please keep including in the package for the hotel users.”
