“This is a small hostel on the Main Street of San Francisco (San Pancho). Great front desk staff, very helpful. Very clean and a beautiful communal space. Further from beach than most places but still easily walkable and a great location. Breakfast is fresh fruits and a nutty bread (delicious), tea, coffee and other juicy drinks. We had a room with private bathroom and air con. One negative: Window opens into hall, not outside and our window didn’t have a lock on it... Maybe others……

“It’s really an excellent place. However, due to weather conditions, they could do a bigger effort to have more fans in the rooms, it gets really hot and humid at night and this makes sleeping unbearable. My husband and I could not sleep at all, the ceiling fan was not enough to circulate air down to the bottom beds in the room (bunk beds). This would be the only reason we would not stay there again. Otherwise the place is truly awesome! ”
