“Stay went well. Wished there was a washer/dryer but it didn’t promise that so that’s on me. Location was very very close to Smith Football stadium so would be convenient for games. ”

“Excellent property, clean and well-appointed. Walking distance to neighborhood and downtown restaurants. Off-street parking worked well for our van. Listing was accurate except Wi-Fi wasn’t available. I’m sure the owners would have worked to fix that had we notified them - but we didn’t want to disrupt our down time in the home to accommodate that.”

“We were lucky to find this gem. The perfect location for all things Charlottesville. Owner was top notch to work with all booking and during stay inquiries were quickly and accurately answered. Plenty of space for a couple of two for a long stay. Every appliance needed was there and working well. An abundance of china, glasses, cooking ware and paper products were stocked. Friendly neighbors. Everything well kept in this cottage. Look forward to another stay here in the future.”

“This place worked perfectly for a friend meetup near Wintergeen! Near Bold Rock cidery and three notch'd brewery, and we stopped at Bear Creamery for an ice cream flight! Laurie responds quickly, we found the house just as described. Comfortable and very clean, in a nice residential neighborhood. We appreciated the screened in porch and the A/C during the day. Highly recommend this getaway! ”

“We chose the Afton Farmhouse for our annual family vacation and are very glad we did. The location was close to so many things to see and do and we indeed saw and did a lot of things. We went to the Blue Mountain Brewery for dinner. This place not only has great food and great options but also a wonderful play area for the kids. It’s not a playground but rather an artificial turf area with cornhole and space for the kids to run, jump, and roll. We went to a unique landscape nursery call……
