“My husband and I loved our stay at this beautiful cabin. We frequently visit the mountains and this cabin provided the perfect balance for a weekend away. It was private without feeling isolated and offered beautiful mountain views without having to actually climb a mountain. We enjoyed hiking by day and the local craft breweries and cideries in the evening. We were able to have a getaway but have the modern conveniences of AC and Wifi. It is rare for my husband to say, "I'd come back" because……

“Great cabin for 4 adults (plus a little dog). Definitely tucked back in the woods but not far from main road to get around the area. Spacious bedrooms especially upstairs master suite. Very nice kitchen/dining area. Enjoyed time on the deck and had some nice evening fires. We also took a few walks on the trails along the river. Owner was great with communication before, during, and after our stay. ”

“Stayed two nights while attending weddings in the area. A very unique and enjoyable stay. The trail down to the treehouse results in a quiet and secluded space - surrounded by forest and the sounds of birds. As mentioned in the listing, the path from the parking to the treehouse is a somewhat steep wooded trail, and there is a ladder up to the loft bedroom - so this would not be great for those with mobility issues. But for us, these things enhanced our stay, and we would definitely return. ……

“We attended a wedding close by & our family stayed here for a weekend. So much nicer than a hotel! Beautiful grounds, lots of privacy & very kind owner. Charlottesville is short 15-20 drive. Highly recommend! ”
