“It was a well kept apartment.Extremely respectful and helpful host.Close to Central Park, shops and public transportation, this palce dislocate in historical Harlem, NY with a lot of places to visit. Close to restaurants as well for many choices. The apartment was spacious, very clean and comfortable beds. Apt. Just requires a few minor improvements, but overall it was great.”

“Loved our stay at this Brooklyn location. Nice, new property. Fairly short walk to the subway and easy to get to Manhattan. Walkable neighborhood with lots of different shops. ”

Having lived in Manhattan in the 80's, I knew the part of town that would be the best home base for most of our activiites but did not want a mega-hotel environment. “Great spot to rest after going into NYC. The condo has beyond all the amenties you need for a comfortable stay. Alan was personable and engaging. He gave great travel tips and landmarks for our stay. Highly reommended VRBO. He let us extend our time on the last day to coincide with our flight plans back to home. Thank you again”

“We booked September 1st to 30th. Host cancelled 1st, 2nd, and 3rd after we booked. Host refunded money, but not VRBO processing fees for her cancellation request! Check in time later than what was advertised. Apartment Not clean or modern! Furniture stained and dirty. Closet doors falling off. Shower hardware rusted and broken. Faucet in bathroom sink broken and loose. King mattress on top of a filthy, stained, and old Queen box spring, on top of a dirty Queen bed frame. Dining room chairs and……

“They say a first impression can be your last and our first impression made it very hard to feel at ease in this unit. It looked like a construction zone. Dust was everywhere. They did have a cleaning person come in the next day and also provided air purifiers on request but still... my mom and I got daily headaches and nightly coughing fits. We are convinced in addition to the dust everywhere, there may be mold. We ended up extending our trip for a month. The unit was available but we booked……
