“Was super fortunate to find this accommodation so close to everything. The Host is very kind, patient and accommodating. Given the lower level suite is pet friendly, which is an additional bonus, I do understand the lack of a clean floor, however, the state of the kitchen counter (left over food bits) was a bit of a shock, as were the dangling cobwebs inside the cupboards. There is a small toaster oven in the basement suite only. Don’t bring a casserole for dinner. Lesson learned. The bathroom……

“The suite was in great condition, clean and modern. Access is down a steep driveway and you must walk a little ways down. Could be challenging for those with mobility limitations. Also very dark. There was a full kitchen but no cutlery - literally a single spoon. We thankfully did not cook, but would have been very inconvenient. Otherwise, nice view and would stay again. Enjoyed watching the ferries go by. ”

While that was true, the place hasn’t been kept up well over the years. The kitchen needs work. The drawers don’t open well at all. There was not a spice or basic cooking essential in the place. “This immaculate and tastefully designed suite offered our group (four adult women) the perfect space to come home to after our adventures on Bowen. Ideally situated a short walk from the cove, I don't know that we could've asked for anything more suitable. The kitchen was beyond well stocked; Lynn's offerings included a bottle of wine, a variety of milk and creamers for our indulgent morning breakfasts, and a few toppings for our toast. I would not hesitate to send guests of any age to this……
