“This was a great little place for my husband and I to stay. Small, but enough space for both of us. We loved how close it was to Garden of the Gods, Pike's peak, Old Colorado City, Manitou Springs, etc. Property was very clean and had all the basics. We were looking for a clean, simple, close by place and this was definitely it..Only kinda odd thing was the actual "compound" it was on. “It was a great get away for the whole family but still close enough to get to town. We loved the location and home. ”

“This is a wonderful little getaway. Neighbor is sweet and their tiny farm was fun to take in while relaxing on the newly remodeled back deck. The spiral stairs are very narrow and not the easiest to navigate. Plenty of wildlife sightings and Colorado adventures to be had. Be advised though if planning on taking in Manitou Springs during this time of year around 11-2pm. The city was packed and the traffic was atrocious. Every single parking lot full and it took more than an hour of circling the……

“We have stayed at many VRBOs and this one is one of our favorites. The cabin was in a wonderful location, with easy access to Manitou Springs, and a great home base for our little day trips. The cabin itself is just far enough away though to be a quiet, serene get away. There is a little stream right by the house so you always have the quiet, perfect sound of water and it is right by a great trail. The house was very clean and comfortable, with perfectly charming cabin decor. Even the sofa bed……

“We had a nice stay at this unit. Loved that it was dog friendly. Perfect for 2 people. We had one issue while staying there - the washer was not working correctly. The host was very quick to respond and she offered a couple solutions. We needed up just doing laundry in the other unit on the property. The neighborhood was quiet and we felt safe. We did get to see a mule deer in the alley. Overall we had a good stay. ”

“I picked this property due to location as I had a conference at the Broadmoor. This property is within walking distance to the Broadmoor. The host was easy to contact and communicate with. Furnishings are a little outdated but comfortable. Ceiling in basement/basement bedroom is a tad low if you are on the taller side.”

“The overall aesthetic was nice. Felt like we were in a cabin inside, and it was cute. The shower is dysfunctional and there were burns marks on the counter tops, cracked wooden floor, and the toaster had food bits left over in it. Definitely wish the owner would refund a bit of cash for the major inconvenience the shower caused.”

“The home was very clean and the hot tub was pristine. We had a wonderful time relaxing. Communication with the host (a rental company, not an individual owner) could have been better — we had trouble getting timely responses to questions before our stay, and check-in instructions didn’t arrive until after the scheduled time, leaving us waiting on the deck for about 45 minutes. It’s a charming home, though it’s clearly managed solely as a short-term rental. While we enjoyed our visit, it’s a……
