“My only complaint would be water pressure being poor, but I understand it is mostly due to altitude of the location. House was large enough for 2 or maybe even 3 families, though it was just 4 of us. Fire place was great, balcony was amazing with a good view. The drive to the house was initially scary coming from plain, flat Kansas roads but after a few trips we got used to it. “The most important part of the property is that it had the look and feel of a cabin, starting with wood floors that were obviously authentic and very old. So we got the atmosphere we hoped for. The next best part was the kitchen -- plenty large enough to allow multiple people to be cooking, talking, and drinking coffee or wine together. “We enjoyed our stay here. The property was clean and definitely worked for our needs for the weekend. The owner clearly communicated how to get to/access the property. The interior of the property was nice and had everything we needed. It was a little difficult to access the property since there were cars parked in the road on the way in (not the owner's fault). “This is one of those places you guiltily don't want to gove a great review because you want to keep the amazingness all to your self. Beautiful property. Beautiful home. Impeccably clean. It is very much a mountain cabin and so are the roads and access to it. I imagine we will be back multiple times a year for some years to come. Very close to Manatiou and woodland park.”
