“Staff are extremely lovely, can't do enough for you. The room was beautiful and the little touches made it feel very special. The food was out of this world. Can't say enough about our stay. ”

“A pleasant hotel but not really "luxury" as they claim. No air conditioning, just a small, noisy desk fan. Probably not an issue most of the year, to be fair, as it was unseasonably hot this week. Double bed with a poor mattress that transferred all movement of one partner to the other. Tap in the wash basin too close to the basin; I've seen this repeatedly in hotel rooms and, to be fair, some home, and I'll never understand how the proprietors and their plumber can't figure out what size……

“Nice room to base ourselves from for the night before the Fred Whitton. Basic room with everything you need, only complaint would be that the room we had was facing the street and the Saturday nightlife was pretty loud till late walking past the front of our room that kept waking us up, appreciate this is outside of the hotels control though so not their fault but this is just a work of warning if you are after an early. Ight for an early start. ”

“Very elegant, spacious and clean hotel room. Our room was facing the lake. Very beautiful view in the moring and when sun set. The hotel resturant is very good. We enjoyed a pleasant dinner there. ”

“As with our past stays, lovely people who run and work at the pub make it a pleasure to stay - good choice of drinks and food (well prepared as always), excellent breakfast, comfortable well equipped room with an excellent bed.”

“So upon arrival the hotel had no record of our booking through Hotels.com. Luckily they had a room available and gave it us for the rate id booked a year ago. The room was large, nicely decorated. Comfortable bed. Large bathroom. Breakfast was outstanding delicious. The staff were lovely. We had two issues. The toilet wasn't clean, had poo stains from previous guests. And there was no hot water from the shower. Luckily the bath was ok. ”
