“Located in a very quiet area, this place is great. We had a king-sized bed and a super clean room. A beautiful waterfall is located just down the street, as well as the small historical district. Super friendly staff. You can grab pre-packaged breakfast and fruit, along with coffee. You can park right next to your room, which is super convenient. Great place!”

“This is an old-style motor lodge one would find on a U.S. Highway in the 50s or 60s. The decor shows it. If you are seeking a fancy, glitzy resort, go elsewhere. “The room was clean, and I mean surgical clean. I am one of those crazy people that check a room with a flashlight, and I couldn't find a speck of dust or a water spot in the bathroom. “We had a great experience at Whispering Winds! The staff was super friendly and the check in process was quick. This is a very cute little roadside motel - the rooms are more like tiny bungalows than a hotel room. Everything was clean and well cared for. The whole place is a little dated but honestly, that really added to the charm for us.
