“Only problem we had was finding the place. They should most definitely change the address on vrbo. The night was rainy foggy and scary for city slickers like us lol and finding the place was bad, other than that we loved it. ”

“4 of us thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful natural light and scenery from inside as we cooked and played board games in the evenings. We hiked at Grayson Highland Park, saw snow and ice and even 3 wild ponies. Then, downtown we enjoyed The Liar’s Bench , and especially the Coffee Shop. The town of Lansing is recovering beautifully and appreciating with kindness and warmth, the tourism as it returns after Helene. ”

“My husband and I stayed with our 2 dogs and would definitely stay again. Very private, host was not intrusive at all. Great place for our dogs to run and play in back yard. We were all very comfortable. ”

“The house was perfect for us and could have accommodated many more very comfortably. Great kitchen, super comfy living room, plenty of games and books, and lots of extra blankets/towels. The hosts were absolutely amazing! Overall 10/10! ”

“Absolutely loved this cottage and our stay in Damascus. House was perfectly clean and well stocked. Communication with Ron and check-in/check-out was so smooth. Location was perfect for town and trails. Would absolutely stay here again and I highly recommend it. ”

“The house was lovely. Had everything we needed as advertised. Unfortunately, the town of Damascus was devastated by a flood due to Hurricane Helene. We lost power about 9:40am on 9/27. Also, lost water around the same time. We had to evacuate around 5:30pm on 9/27. We apologize for not being able to wash the dishes or complete some of the other check out procedures due to the circumstances. We are devastated for the community of Damascus as they have suffered catastrophic damage in town. Luckily……

“We stayed for just on night. The cabin was nice, it's a nice old cabin, floors were squeaky and loud, but I guess that added to the charm. The only complaint is the twin beds were as hard as a rock, felt like laying on plywood. Seeing the devastation in the area was also heartbreaking. The location was perfect for us to enjoy our family in Grassy Creek.”
