As other reviewers have noted, it's in a VERY ideal location--15 to 30 minutes from anything you'd want to explore: small towns, bigger towns, parks, hiking, it's truly a magical area.The field behind the house was perfect for an early morning romp with our dog. The views are great and it has everything you would need in a place……

“We pre-paid this room. On arrival we had to wait 10 minutes before checking in. For some reason the lady upgraded our room and charged another $470 on our credit card. We had booked a king size bed. What we got was a tiny room with one queen bed in it…and one bedside table! The place was brand new but the layout was odd with the reception being up one floor. A lot more went wrong there…we won’t go back.”

“The apartment is a lovely blend of quaint and convenient. Tranquil setting w goats, chickens, gardens, and lots of birds at numerous feeders. Decor is tasteful, bed is excellent, towels are plush, both AC and heat work well, kitchenware is very nice, PLUS the place is well-stocked with everything from Q-tips to a worthy collection of great books. In all, it was great although I would have preferred a more meticulous and deeper clean before my arrival.”
