“This is a unique place. The architecture and furnishings are a mix of old fashioned and modern, and there are stunning views from your room and the restaurant. Whoever designed this place was super-smart about how they situated it and melded it with the natural environment. The staff is top-notch; professional but friendly. All the food we had was delicious, and the Pub above the main restaurant was a lovely place to just chill and enjoy the ambiance. We would definitely go back.”

“Great stay and a very quiet and relaxed upscale property. Staff knew who we were before we arrived and were ready a willing to assist to ensure any specific wants or needs were met. The surrounding forest and lake were large and completely open for exploring. Rooms are huge and incredibly well appointed. Food is 5 star for breakfast, lunch and dinner. ”

“We had a wonderful overnight stay at The John Wallace BnB. The owners are fabulous hosts and the newly renovated building is beautiful. Our room was very comfortable and the common areas were lovely. The BnB's location is wonderful, too. It's within walking distance of the town center and the building is actually part of the town's historic building self tour. Be sure to factor in time for their tremendous breakfast! “The hotel Belvedere was historically impressive. Everything was extremely clean and well maintained for the hotel being built in 1902. Rooms and hallway smelled nice with no hint of mildew. The only drawback I could even think of is the fact that our room had two full sized beds when it could easily fit two queen size beds. Would definitely stay there again for the price. It was a third of the price of other hotels in the area.”
