“The property was clean and had many amenities that made the stay pleasant, such as coffee pods, paper towels, pool towels, and tea. The area was quiet except for a few dogs who barked occasionally. The only negative item was that the freezer portion of the refrigerator was frozen over with frost. ”

“Beautiful villa with spectacular views. The listed photos do not do it justice! The villa overlooks all the palaces, which are lit up at night. The villa is the perfect base for visiting all the palaces, beaches and a Lisbon day trip if you wanted. Hire car is essential however uber is very easy and affordable if you want to eat out and drink alcohol. We are a family of four with children of 10 and 7. Maria is a wonderful host and did everything possible to make our stay comfortable. ”

“Superb hosts, very friendly and helpful. always on hand to offer tips about the area or house. The villa is in an excellent location, close to beaches, lovely towns like Sintra very close and Lisbon is even close enough for visits . Colares was perfect for our family as it had everything with needed. The house was well equipped, the WiFi was good. We loved the pool and bbq area. Would defo stay again. ”

“We had a fantastic stay with our family. The house has a great location with a wonderful view. The rooms in the house are spacious and the house is tastefully furnished. The terrace with the pool is a dream. The proximity to Sintra and Lisbon gave us the opportunity to go on beautiful excursions and sightseeing.
