We weren't expecting the room to be serviced after the first night on a two night stay, but it was, unasked, including setting up a drying rack for the clothes we had washed and hung the night before. “We had a wonderful stay at Quinte Verde Sintra. Hotel (or Bed and Breakfast?) grounds are wonderful and you can see the Moorish Castle from the pool - breathtaking views! You do need a car though or Uber (or both if you are not comfortable driving around the Sintra palaces in narrow and busy streets). Owner was very welcoming and informative on how to enjoy our stay and park our cars, breakfast (optional) was a great way to start the day. Thank you very much, we will be back!”

“Lovely stay!”

“Property overall was great! Room was spacious. Did not love that the gate to the property was left open several nights, in addition to our window being left wide open by the cleaning staff while we were gone all day. Was a little jarring to come home from being out to that with all of our belongings inside. Sheets were also not changed one of the nights when needed. Would still come back for another visit, but did want to call out the few things above.”

“Very convenient for a 0505 flight the following day. Though no shuttle to airport when we checked out that early, the 5 minutes walk to airport did not create any problems unless you have lots of luggages. Check in out very smooth, buffet dinner at 20 Euro plus complimentary breakfast (even at 0230 continental breakfast) made it very convenient. Clean tidy and smooth I would stay again for and early flight from Lisbon.”

“I loved staying at Villa Cerrado das Fontainhas and wish I could've stayed several days! The lodging is warm and inviting and the landscape is gorgeous. Generous breakfast, too! “The 2nd oldest Chalet in Portugal with so much charm. Staff is attentive and the property is clean and well maintained. Great location away from all the crowds yet close enough to everything. Midway between the city center and the beach Praia Grande..will definitely go back.”
