“Great hotel in a central location but away from the hustle and bustle of the downtown tourist area of Lisboa. Nearby metro stations, or a nice 20 minute stroll, take you into the heart of Lisboa’s old town area. Whilst Mama has a colourful and hip vibe (enjoy the rooftop and restaurant) the room had a peaceful, quietness after a busy days exploring the city and beyond. Useful things to note… there’s a supermarket nearby, the room comes with a safe and a fridge, 24/7 reception and it’s a 15……

“The hotel is located at Marques de Pombal, a relatively commercial and safe place for tourists to accommodate. The speaker in the room is nice and echo with the theme of this hotel! The design of the slide door of shower room and toilet causes water leakage a bit, but a bath mat can fix the issue, not much concern. A great stay for 2 nights to conclude.”

“I requested a high floor room but finally was assigned a lower floor and noisy room which was closed to the street. The breakfast was very good. It just takes 3 - 5 mins walk from the MTR station to the hotel but you may need to walk around 10 - 20 mins between the hotel and the other restaurant, supermarket, cafe shop, shopping area etc. ”

“Everything worked and was clean. The location is perfect with bus stations and metro stations within 5 min walking. The supermarket nearby has all the essentials. The only little inconvenience we had was the laundry machine’s door handle was broken, allegedly by the last guest. We were told to just use a knife to jam open the door, and we did just that, so problem solved!”

“The Hotel is clean and conveniently located. Considerably near the Rossio Train Station to Sintra, Metro station to Airport and bus station to Torre de Belem and Mosteiro dos Jeronimos. The staff are polite and helpful. She provided me useful information on tourists spots and recommended us to have dinner at the Chu Chu Restaurant nearby where the grilled fish is delicious and valued for money.”

“Excellent location and cleanliness. Much better if staff has more compassionate at work. Suggest the staff at counter preparing omelette can make sunny eggs also, instead saying no but asking them to get them on plates but actually none instead, and collect city tax upon checking-in rather than checking out to expedite the process. ”

“Stayed in Lissabon for a couple of nights on our way from vocation. Mostly business visit, but we really enjoyed the city and the hotel. The service was as expected - attentive but not imposing. Location is great for our liking. Central and yet not in the middle of tourists and all the hussle. Roof top bar had a great atmosphere. ”

“The location is very convenient. The space is large. I can do laundry and simple cooking feels like home. However, the TV cannot be used, but it does not affect the positive review. I will consider staying here next time.”

“The hotel team are excellent - always smiling and kind. The receptionists were very helpful in recommending places and provided adaptors for our chargers. The restaurant team provided us with ice and pot of water to use in our room. Unfortunately the room is very small with no kettle, or small fridge, and no space to sit around comfortably. The restaurant barmen, provided ice and also pot of hot water for us to bring into our room as a solution. luckily there is an outdoor garden seating……
