“This was the most well stocked house we have stayed in. You felt like you were staying at a friend’s house. Everything you could need was available in the kitchen, plenty of towels for shower and beach, beach toys, chairs etc. The house was directly off the beach- just a short walk to the access walkway and a straight shot to the market as well. The view from the top balcony was enjoyed by everyone each morning. Hugh was super responsive for a few minor issues we had. Will stay here again! ”

“Having three kings with bathrooms made our stay easy. Everyone had their own space plus shared kitchen, dining & social area. The porch is great & having 2 golf carts lets everyone do their own thing. We were there for a wedding & it was easy to get to get to the venues. Communication was excellent.”

“Just steps from the beach and perfectly situated half way down on the island… we just LOVED our stay! The owners checked in with us regularly to make sure we had what we needed which was so kind. Incredibly well stocked! Very comfortable rooms with everything my family from ages 3-13 needed. The golf cart was very good and the beach access was just so perfect. Highly recommend and cannot wait to go back! ”

The 2 golf carts worked well and there were plenty of great features like beach chairs, a well appointed kitchen, beach/bath towels and supplies. We will definitely rent again. ”

The location of Washashore is perfect in that it is right across from the beach and mid island so close to the market / coffee shop etc. something we did not appreciate when we booked it. ITrip, the management company, was extremely responsive for the handful of questions we had and the house was great. In particular the thoughtful layout and large shaded deck were standouts.”
