“My adult son and I just finished a motorcycle trip to OBX. We picked Dolphin Inn because we wanted an old school motel experience, with easy access, and beach front. All at a good value. Dolphin Inn was PERFECT. It's been recently refreshed, and the rooms were very clean, nicely decorated and QUIET. The staff was friendly and professional, and everything we needed was available. “Great beach access for the money! Wright Bros. Monument is 2 blocks away but not walkable-- the highway can't be safely crossed on foot. Also, a car is necessary to get to restaurants and other places of interest, though they are near enough. A thoroughly enjoyable stay!”

“This is a great place to stay that puts you basically right on the beach. It is close to many of the shopping areas and restaurants. It was very clean, the staff was friendly, and the continental breakfast was wonderful. Highly recommend!”
