“Went with 3 couples to bird cheek chalet for a friends 40th birthday. This place is very nice and spacious. There’s plenty of room for everyone to spread out. It’s pet friendly and the road is nice for walking your pet and you can get on the trail down to bird creek nearby. We skied Alyeska and it was about a 14 min drive. We also spent a relaxing day at the nearby Nordic Spa. The hot tub at the Chalet is a very nice addition and we were able to see the northern lights from it one night! The……

“We came here to stay for a short trip to Seward for fishing and exploring. Lori was an excellent host that made sure we had everything we needed and even gave us some recommendations for things to do in the town! Cabin with nice with all the amenities we would need. Would definitely stay here again if we were to ever make another trip to Seward! ”

“Stayed a couple of days in Talkeetna for New Years. Everyone loved the cabin. My kids loved the loft area and playing outside on the property, especially doing s'mores with the firepit. My wife enjoyed the sauna and being able to relax and read a book with an amazing view of the outdoors, and I enjoyed the well stocked kitchen. We all had a blast and can't wait to go back. Amazing hosts!”

“Very nice old log cabin. Clean and well stocked, though by the listing we thought it was more by itself in the woods, instead next to apartments and across the street from several businesses. Otherwise is was very convenient to Exit Glacier, fishing, and the grocery store and downtown. We were very comfortable there, and even had a black bear sighting in our driveway one morning. Would recommend this cute old cabin.”

“0 complaints, everything was super clean and very spacious for my wife and I. Girdwood was a very cool town, the surrounding houses were beautiful! Not a complaint... but the house was outdated, my wife and i looked at it as staying in an antique kinda cabin!”

“We had a family gathering of 14. We had one member with allergies and several flights to accommodate and host was gracious, kind and accommating to our needs. Teens love the fusbol table. Adults enjoyed the card games. Only feedback to suggest is having potholders for cooking.Every bed was comfortable and everyone had a great time.”

“Place was nice and had all the things needed for 2 people. Kitchen supplies were better than most places with all upgrades pots and pans and utensils. Ladder might be a problem for some getting up to the loft for some. Only complaint is the door code was malfunctioning and had to wait for a back up person to come and open the door with a key from the key lock box. 1.5 hours to get in. Owner does not need to have a 10 digit code to open a door. In all my travels 4 to 5 code is efficient. And male……

“Cabin was clean and cozy, very comfortable for two people. Close enough to Anchorage but still felt secluded. Saw a moose on a side road near cabin. We would stay here again if ever back in the area. ”
