“I’ve been to Gettysburg a few times but only for a day trip. I booked this cabin and I couldn’t be happier! Charming cabin with all of the essentials. The property was beautiful and very close to all of the military parks. The owners were beyond helpful the entire process. I loved the fire pit out front and with the late summer nights starting to cool off some now the fire pit was a must! The river views were awesome and the amount of wildlife that I saw every morning and afternoon was the……

“The Cocoa Cottage was above and beyond what my family and I ever expected!! The house is amazing! Clean, so cute, great layout, perfect location but most of all the pool was incredible!!!!! The owner has the home stocked with all necessities, very detailed instructions regarding check in/check out, trash, etc. A cute handy pamphlet with extra info about nearby restaurants and areas to check out. This was by far the best house rental I’ve booked and can’t wait to visit again! Thank you!!”

“Such a cozy cabin. The area is so peaceful, it was great to spend the morning sitting in the window watching the forest and nearby creek. The lighting makes everything feel warm and cozy too. The windows in the bedroom let in a lot of nice sunlight. The stairs are a little steep, but not too bad once you get the hang of them. ”

“Do yourself a favor and stay at the cottage! We had a wonderful time in this beautiful, peaceful setting. There was a welcome basket to greet us when we arrived and communication with the owners was excellent. We enjoyed the backyard and deck while watching the bunnies and fireflies. We could hear the buggies passing on the main road and see them from a distance. We visited the farmers market close by and ate at Dienner’s Country Restaurant buffet. Our stay was short but we spent time exploring……

“Second time staying here! Great location! It’s a pet friendly house, so expect some remnants of pet hair and pet smells, but overall a great house! ”

“Everything was very clean. Great amenities, location and property. Would definitely recommend and plan to stay again!”

“My mother and I always do a mother-daughter trip to the Amish Country every summer. And we tried VRBO for the first time and came across this place. We fell in love instantly. It feels like home, great little coffee bar, supplies ice and a pitcher of water. The place was immaculate. The hot tub was great, especially at night. Great little hiking trails that I wasn’t aware of and didn’t bring proper shoes for it. So make sure you have sneakers for the little trails. The neighbors we never saw……
