“This rental is absolutely adorable! It was just the right size for our weekend trip to visit family. The location is perfect, with easy access to I-81 and plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby. The property itself was spotless and the kitchen has everything you might need. We look forward to staying here again on our next trip to Chambersburg.”

“This cottage was exactly what my partner and I needed. It was beautiful and private. Sitting on the back deck and watching the squirrels and birds was so nice. My partner liked shooing the squirrels away from the bird feeder. The hosts provided almost everything, all you needed was food. Having a campfire every night was so precious to us and helped us connect. The grate for the campfire is an excellent touch, making food on the fire a breeze. The only thing that i would tell others is watch out……

“This is a perfect place for a multigenerational family stay! I booked this for my son’s graduation from Penn State and stayed with my father and 23 year old son. This is a great option when all the hotels in State College are booked up and Penn State is a lovely 45 minute drive away. “Had a wonderful time staying at the cozy shoehouse as we took a couple days to reunite with family after moving out of state. Spent 23 years in York visiting the shoe from time to time. It was very nostalgic inside and outside of the shoe. Unlike practically all shoes, this one did not stink.”

“This was a gathering of two households- one from NYC, the other from DC - who found this to be a great in between location to meet up. The home is beautiful and so well appointed.
