“We were in town to drop a student at University of Charleston. This was a place to stay”

“.When we arrived the owner was there to tell us her furnace was out and couldn't be fixed till the newt day. She offered to give us a refund right away but not knowing the area we said we stay there. She had purchase a space heater and got us set up. There were additional space heaters in the upstairs bedrooms. Everything turned out fine. Was a nice stop over on our way to Virginia to visit friends. ”

“It was great as usual!! ”

“Mr. Husson allowed me to check in a couple hrs. early-which he did not have to. The interior was clean and reasonably furnished. Price was reasonable for area. However, advertisement was misleading. Rental is for a floor/flat of a house. Not the whole house. Finished basement was rented to another party (who had a puppy that cried throughout the nights). Also, yard was trashy with litter strewn about.”

“My husband, 14-month-old, dog, and parents all stayed here 1 night for a concert. We LOVED our stay and were so impressed with the cleanliness, gifts, safety factors for our toddler and dog, and the view! Not to mention, the restaurants the listing recommended were fantastic! We really loved Barone's Pizza and Harding's!”

“The outside light was burned out, the bedroom was especially dirty. The fan was covered with so much dust you could not use it. The smoke detectors battery compartments were open with batteries in them so they were not working. The bathroom attached to bedroom had no hot water, tepid at best. The bathroom sink needed 3 lightbulbs there was one. No trash can liners or toilet tissue ( I found a third of a roll). This property is old but it seems to me it should be maintained better. Fresh……
