“Mixed review. Accommodation spotless and really comfy bed. Loved the self catering option. Layout of the venue a bit strange. Not a country club but more a sports plaza I would say. Restaurant lacked atmosphere. More like a service station but nice food. Could have done with a nice bar outside. There is a hub but it closes at 6 . Car park a bit far from reception ”

“We absolutely loved our three day stay here. We can't fault it whatsoever. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed and more. The beds in both rooms were comfortable and the living space perfect for our family of four. We have stayed in a few apartments in Cornwall over the past decade and this was by far the best. “Excellent location for both the beach and amenities, not to mention St Michaels’s Mount! We very much enjoyed our stay. We can thoroughly recommend both the Chapel Rock Café located directly opposite the cottage, together with The King’s Arms for a lovely meal, just a few minutes walk away. “The Rocket cottage was everything we’d hoped for ! Fantastic location looking out over the sea, good access to the beach below which is dog friendly, what more could we ask for. The cottage was peaceful, cosy and warm, internet connection a little weak in places but we managed. The bed was comfortable and having access to a washer dryer was a bonus. Portwrinkle is a beautiful spot to explore northern Cornwall and we would definitely recommend The Rocket cottage as a place to stay, we loved it ! ”
