“Stay in a working monastery! The buildings and extensive grounds are superb. The grounds and gardens are well tended, and make for an extremely pleasant stroll. The place oozes character and makes a memorable visit. All this on the outskirts of Huddersfield. The rooms are basic but clean. Breakfast is only "continental", offering cereals, muesli, yoghurt, plenty of fresh bread for toast and lots of strong filter coffee. The staff are friendly and welcoming.”

“I had a great stay. I was travelling for work so appreciated the provided parking spaces and fast internet. The service was excellent (offered a pot of tea with milk on arrival) and the breakfast was all freshly cooked. ”
