I must mention that we did not have AC in the unit we stayed in and coming from the south, that was very unusual. Little did we know, you didn’t even need AC! “This was a cozy, clean, and aesthetically inspiring apartment with a wonderful view and a sprawling garden. My kids (ages 9 and 13) and I stayed here nearly a week, doing all kinds of fun activities in Berkeley. I asked the 9 year old what her favorite part of the trip was, and she said cuddling up in the little book nook while looking out at the view every evening. They felt at home and did not get homesick at all--which is first! ”
