The rental was close to SFO (15 min), the city (20-40 min depending on where you're going and with light traffic) and a couple of golf courses where we played. Harding Park is 15 min away. “We stayed here for three nights while visiting San Francisco in July 2025. The house was about 20 minutes from downtown and included on site parking in the driveway. The master bedroom had a king bed, one bedroom had a queen, and the other had two twin beds. Both bathrooms were recently updated. The kitchen was large and wonderful, opening into the family room with a huge Roku TV. There is also a dedicated office space off the kitchen. ”

It was in a great location near downtown Half Moon Bay you could walk maybe less than 100 feet and be on Main Street. The host was great and was very quick to respond. “On the plus sides: The property is fun and ecclectic. I would say not for small children as there are wooden and woven giraffes, lamas, masks etc. that would likely attract attention Good location, easy walk to restaurants. Fells safe. Clean. Plenty of hot water and good pressure. Plenty of books and games. Easy parking. Erin is very responsive.Negatives: mattress a bit soft but that's personal preference. A bit dark. “I was selling a house in a neighboring town and needed a place to stay that would accept my cats. We were welcomed immediately. It's a beautiful unit in a quiet neighborhood. “I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this property. In addition to having a spacious upstairs flat at my disposal I needed a full kitchen to be able to do some cooking while I was there. The interior decor was tasteful and there was a good selection of books to expand my reading options. Location was super convenient for visiting Berkeley and Oakland and I-80 is right there for easy access to SF / West Bay or anywhere else in the Bay Area.
