“I loved staying at the Travelers Rest! The bed was very comfortable and quiet. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. I loved interacting with them and the other guests in the living room area. The kitchen is equipped with coffee/tea, muffins, yogurt, eggs, fruit, etc. We stayed at a corporate hotel the night before which was double the price we paid at the TR and it wasn’t worth it although they were very nice too. No continental breakfast, and the bed was not as comfortable as the TR……

I showed them the e-mail confirmation on my computer only to get remarks such as, "That won't change anything" "It doesn't matter what your e-mail says"... We asked if they could make the change and the lady first said no, and it's not because they were full, just because they got the information that we wanted a smoking room, while never providing any proof that was the what happened. “I like this hotel for the price as a budget staycation for me and my partner. The Tv channel options are not the best. The high step tub is somewhat of a safety concern even for an aware and careful person. The bed is comfortable and the room is warm even for the cold month of February”

“Reserved 3 rooms, all pretty dirty. One smelled like urine and semen. No shower curtain or pillowcases. Front desk was nice and responsive but couldn't get issues resolved. Ended up having to find an alternate place to stay at 11pm. Not a good experience. ”
