“One night stopover en route to see family. Always welcoming staff throughout the hotel. Good food served in the bar area and great breakfast.”

“The hotel staff were excellent. The food was very good. The room was comfortable (accessible room) but could do with refresh. The carpet was quite stained in places, the tiles on floor of shower were sharp around the drain, the shower taps were roughly fixed to shower wall and very difficult to turn off, there was no air-conditioning in bedroom, no safe, and key card kept failing. The hotel also offered an indoor pool. However, it was always so busy as the hotel opens it up to non - residents.……

“A very well run hotel. Exceptionally busy with events but the staff acted with grace under pressure. Comfortable and spacious rooms. Food options excellent even for gluten-free and vegans.”

“Generally a good hotel and stay. Fairly good value for money, Excellent views of the river. Breakfast reasonable selection and cooked to order making food fresh and ecologically good by reducing wastage.”

“Great hotel for 1 or 2 nights. Pool facilities are great! Rooms are spacious and very clean and comfortable. Breakfast could have been a bit better and also hotel is a bit out of the way from the town. Hence why its more of a hotel to stay in for 1 or 2 nights. It would be ideal for travelling and catching the ferry the next day. Also lots of work men staying in the hotel so less families and more workmen/ business men. ”
