“This cottage is so authentic from the beautiful well kept grounds, the thatched roof and so many thoughtful details. If you are looking for a truly Irish escape this is the place for you. The host so kindly helped us with a change in travel plans, even left us some fresh eggs and authentic Irish bread, butter and jam. the house is so thoughtfully updated and outfitted. Everywhere you turn there is something delightful to look at or to read. We sadly had to cut our stay short. If we have the……

“Black Valley, where Ceim House is, is quite possibly the most beautiful place I have ever been. It changes with the light an the clouds by the moment. Spectacular. The home itself, and its host, were lovely and met every need we had. I could have stayed longer and will revisit in the future. This is an experience not to be missed. A few things to note: driving through the Dunloe Gap is not to be taken lightly. There are working jaunting carts and tractors that must have the right of way. ……

“What an absolute joyous experience! Colleen met us upon arrival and showed us around their wonderful place! It felt a bit like the Shire, really! Comfy little abodes and unusual structures. The yurt we stayed in was lovely and large. With wood heat we stayed very warm even on frosty nights! We had a camp fire and nice kitchen facilities. But the best part was all the critters!! There is a pig and ponies and a duck. My kids particularly enjoyed the kitty, "Tiger" who spent our nights snuggled……

“Staying in this home was exactly what we needed. We were looking to explore Donegal and this centrally located farmhouse was right in the middle of it. We were within an hour or so of most of the destinations we wanted to get to.We were interested in hiking in the Glenveagh national park and our host gave us an encyclopedia of information about the area and different places to go and visit, as well as how to get there from a local perspective. He definitely went above and beyond!Communication……
