“Conveniently located just a short walk to both gondolas at Steamboat, the Grand was a great stay for our family’s ski trip. I would shop it against the Sheraton next door for a price comparison as we had friends staying there and it was surprisingly upscale and closer to the slopes. ”

“I came here for vacation at the end of September. Except that the water in the swimming pool is not very hot, this is a great hotel, fully in line with the Ritz-Carlton level! !”

“Very nice and roomy cabin feel. Depending on room you have to walk up snow covered driveway to get to shuttle and main building, with no walkway. Shuttle is very quick, hardly any wait items at all. Couldn’t use pool and hot tub due to not wanting to be so wet and walk back outside down a room in 10 degree weather. Steam room was broken, and no spa services at all. It is not a ski in/ski out so have to take shuttle 150 yards up to market and gondola which is nice then gondola to mountain village……

“Room is a little bit small for my luggage. But other than that, everything is awesome!”

“I can’t imagine a better location, within steps of the 4 lifts at the base of Peak 8. The staff was friendly and proactive, calling several times to see if there was as anything additional we needed. We were completely spoiled by the ski valet and can’t wait to plan next year’s trip!”

“Loved our stay! Loved so many things about it, the fireplace in the room, the decor, the view but my favorites were: Ember and the trail right off the hotel around beautiful Estes Lake, we will return! ”
