“We felt very much at home. There was a treat waiting for us (delicious breakfast bread) and our dog (milk-bone)! Great coffee too. Everything we needed shampoo, soap. Huge tv, as well. Highly recommend. ”

“I like the historic home atmosphere. The new owners have made improvements to make guests feel more at home. The breakfast was very good, not too fancy. If you have mobility issues, this might not be the place for you. Most rooms are upstairs (narrow staircase). The shared bathroom is small and has a clawfoot tub on a raised platform. We only stay one night when we stay here because my husband can't get in the tub. But that is what you get when you stay in a historic house. We love it here.”

“R Bar D Ranch was stunning where we had an experience like no other! Beautiful scenery and quiet, serene surroundings. Saw deer just about everyday. The cabin was just as it was explained in the rental summary and then some. Enjoyed walking our dog around the property. Randal was very communicative and it was a pleasure getting to know. Enjoyed his company and learning about the history of his property. We highly recommend this property and can’t wait to visit again! ”
