“You pay for what you get. The surprise 50 deposit is always a nice touch. After driving for 9 plus hours I jus wanted to lay down. I carry my own blanket n sheets when I travel. There was left over frozen food in the fridge from who knows when. ”

“Cannot complain about anything. Have to just make note that the outside lights outside our door as well and several doors were burned out. It was difficult to see even the room numbers as well as the key placement box on the door. But it’s not a complaint as much as just a note. And I forgot to let the desk clerk know before we left. ”

“This has been a go to for my husband and ibfor years. Quiet close to food options and not rifht downtown. Clean rooms and the staff is amazing. I had not been for a while and decided last minute because of location and quiet it was a nice get a stayaway. Thank you to the staff you guys are awesome and i appreciate you. “We stayed here for the nostalgia, it’s been 25 years since we came to the Thunderbird and it didn’t disappoint! I’m pretty sure the pool was closed then too - but we weren’t there to swim and it’s not advertised as having a pool. We just enjoyed the humor of it all. The room was clean and the guy who checked us in was friendly. If you’re looking for luxury, then pay quadruple the price and stay elsewhere! The Thunderbird Motel is a gem, an absolute classic and for the price, I have zero……
