“The family friends we were meeting who grew up in the area unfortunately had a relative pass away so we were on our own exploring the area; however, the house, mainly the front deck was a great area to gather and enjoy everyone's company; we also had their kids stay with us as a distraction and there was plenty of room; my wife and kids loved the sound of the farm, moos at different times of the day.”

“We enjoyed our stay at this property! Very clean accomodations as well as added touches in the bathroom in terms of toiletries. Things you might sometimes forget like; hair ties, makeup remover, q-tips, cotton balls, etc!. Nice to also have a coffee maker in the main bedroom ! ”

“The farmhouse is exactly as pictured and described- it's cute, it has charm, it has creaky floors! If you're a light sleeper, be aware you'll hear the floors! I would suggest bringing a child gate or two for the stairs or a bedroom for younger kids. Ann, the owner, makes check-in super easy. The street is quiet and peaceful. The drive to Taghannock Falls Park and the viewing site are super close. Getting to downtown Ithaca took only about 15 minutes including time to park. Nice place to……

“We were looking for a central location between Southern Pennsylvania and Rochester, NY for a family gathering and landed on the Farmhouse in Rome, PA. What a great property. The sleeping arrangements fit our needs exactly. Everyone was comfortable and very happy in their bedrooms. The loft was a hit with the kids! The king beds and the four and a half bathrooms were a hit with the adults!! The house was beautifully decorated and set-up to encourage family interactions in all areas - the large……
