“About 8 miles outside of Wimberley. Extremely well done cabin on hilltop. Great escape. Not for kids as it is surrounded by woods and not really suited for children. Sister cabin is about 40 yards away but still very secluded. Works well either by itself or close enough to other cabin to allow for a larger group. Perfect for a couple’s retreat. ”

“Another enjoyable stay at The Homestead! Thank you for your hospitality!”

“This casita is a very charming well laid out accommodation for two and we enjoyed our stay especially how close it was to the winery/brewery and the Wimberly square.There are a couple of items that I think the owner might consider attending to that were not deal breakers for me, however might be for someone else. There are only two dinner (mismatched) plates in the casita. Might want to add 3 that match either one of the ones that are there. One of the windows is missing a blind. Not a deal……

“Such a lovely place”

“Loved my stay! This yurt has a really good vibe. It's spacious and clean. The deck is equipped with patio items that made it enjoyable to sit out. The hammock and Jacuzzi were added enjoyment under the big oak trees. If you are looking to get away and still feel safe, this is the place. It also gated so it added an extra measure of security. There is only one other yurt there but it's not visible. For the price, you can't beat it, and this place does not charge extraordinary amount for cleaning……

“The hospitality was wonderful. The manager was respectful of our privacy and very generous wih amenities. The property access was welcomed with kindness. Beautiful view of lake and the night stars.”

“Our weekend stay was absolutely incredible and the host was super informative. My husband and I had a great time exploring all of the trails and had a successful time fishing. We can't say enough good things about the property/hosts. We will be back!”
