“This is a very comfortable cabin with a short walk to the historic district and many shops, coffee shops, and restaurants. The cabin is clean and well stocked with lots of snacks. If you're driving a dully it is best to back into the cabin parking. The gate coming into the driveway is very narrow, and more difficult to back out of them into.”

“Nice, clean tiny home. Stayed here while attending a wedding. Instructions are clear and they were quick to call me when I was locked out momentarily. Perhaps a hanging rack to replace one of the chairs so folks can hang up dresses/suits for events. ”

“We just returned from one of the most fun weekends of our lives! The Moose Lodge was the perfect place to celebrate my sisters upcoming nuptials. The backdrop of the lake was so beautiful and tranquil. The cabins themselves were cozy, clean and had such cute decorations. Think warm wood finishes, comfy blankets, robes and a fire outside! Whether we were sipping coffee on the deck, hot tubbing, or relaxing inside the main house, everything about the lodge was perfect! CC was an amazing host! One……

“I throughly enjoyed the cabin. It had all the modern amenities but truly had old western log cabin decor and flair. It was private and very quiet. Tricia the host was very personable and communicated well. I highly recommend nearby Salt Lick BBQ! The nearby town of Wimberly had fun shops and eats. Gruene was an hour away, but was my favorite with charming historic shops and restaurants and very walkable. Order the schnitzel at Gruene River Grill overlooking the river! “We rented all four cabins for family from out of town for a wedding at nearby Addison Grove. It was perfect. Each cabin is similarly appointed and clean as can be. They are cozy so you’ll need to be creative with unpacking but we did just fine. As the father of the bride we rented our cabin for 6 nights and had a lot of stuff. “We had such a blast staying at The George @ontexastime. The location is perfect as we visited Austin and Fredericksburg. Loved the clean and efficient cabin- perfect for the two of us and so, so cute. The cold plunge and sauna were a treat, also used the swimspa which was way bigger than I thought. Beautiful views, so much nature to take in and great communication from the host. Will def book here again!”
