“Well appointed and very quiet location. Loved the outdoor patio and fireplace but did not like the bright daylight bulbs everywhere. Nice parking under the unit. Some things did not work, like the ice maker and the lock on a bedroom door. In all, very good experience and would stay again.”

“This trip was a college graduation present for my youngest. IMO, you can’t beat this location. It is located above the Subway and Slice of Zion but it is walking distance to main gate, Zion Outfitters, a brewery, many restaurants, and a market. Sometimes my group likes to split up so being walking distance to our home base is a big plus - everyone can do what they want to do without inconveniencing the whole group. The room was just as the pictures indicate. The only thing that I could……

“A slightly odd location basically right behind a Subway, but you can't beat waking up and walking 5 minutes to the park entrance. The place is beautiful and comfortable with super views. The kitchen is a bit small for trying to cook for more than 2 people, but we overall thoroughly enjoyed our stay.”

“We had an incredible stay at the Smithsonian Retreat. We were traveling with various age ranges - from 1 year old to 85 - and the house fit us perfectly. The gated in turfed area was wonderful for the kids to play in and we spent a lot of time on the tennis courts. The house had a ton of space to fit our larger crew and was well stocked with everythig we could need - including hand soap, toilet paper, and coffee filters (which are often not provided). We stay at VRBO houses often and this one……

“We had a wonderful time. The place is small but cozy. Clean fully stocked. Dawn was quick to respond with any questions. It dumped a lot of snow so you definitely need chains or 4WD to get up the road . Found out that snow plow doesn't happen after 4/15 but with our chains we got around with no problem . Being dog friendly was a plus. Very friendly neighborhood will definitely come back next year!”
